He added that members of the State Duma will address the Prosecutor General’s Office and Roskomnadzor if the situation is not corrected within a month, because “laws cannot be ignored”.
Earlier, the Committee on Security and Corruption Control investigated the incorrect mapping of the territorial affiliation of one of the Russian regions, Crimea, on Google maps. Thus, requests to verify the relevant information were sent to Prosecutor General Yuri Chaika and head of Roskomnadzor Alexander Zharov.
