According to Vyacheslav Volodin, ensuring the necessary conditions for the development of trade and economic cooperation is one of the main areas of interparliamentary dialogue between the two countries. ”Our relations have strengthened significantly in recent times, and trade turnover has grown substantially,“ said the Chairman of the State Duma.
He separately drew attention to the growth in tourist flows. ”Tourism is an area where a person chooses a country independently, based on their capabilities, the attractiveness and safety of the destination,“ said Vyacheslav Volodin. ”The number of tourists from Russia to Vietnam has tripled compared to last year. And this is a good foundation for further development of our relations.“
The Chairman of the State Duma also expressed confidence that the opening at VGIK of the Russian-Vietnamese Heritage and Cultural Ties Space, which To Lam visited, ”will become an additional impetus for the development of relations and will strengthen them, including in the field of culture.“
