The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
arrived in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea on a working visit.
He was welcomed by Jo Yong-won, the Chairman of the Standing Committee of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, at the airport.
On behalf of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, on April 26, Vyacheslav Volodin will take part in the official opening ceremony of the Memorial Complex and Museum of Military Deeds of the Heroes of the Foreign Military Operation dedicated to the bravery of the Korean soldiers who took part in the operation and helped liberate the Kursk region from neo-Nazis.
The Chairman of the State Duma is also expected to meet with his colleagues, the DPRK parliamentarians.
