Chairman of the State Duma: the USA, England, France forgot what a high price of victory in World War II was
Vyacheslav Volodin mentioned that at his speech at the opening meeting of the 8th session of the 8th convocation
“The United States of America, England, and France have forgotten what a high price of victory in World War II was, they are trying to distort history, rewrite it, insulting the feat of those who cannot defend themselves,” he said.
“It is impossible to build future on lies, so we should try to open someone's eyes to the truth, and clean someone's ears. I mean those who have finally drifted into a state of oblivion, as there is no other way to describe their attitude to the results of World War II,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.
He recalled that 2025 is a special year — the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War and the year of the Defender of the Fatherland.
“Therefore, we should
constantly improve the legislative framework, do everything to ensure that our
armed forces feel the support of the deputy corps, and this is the main
priority of the State Duma activity in the upcoming session. Only by solving
the tasks of a special military operation our country will be able to have a future, our sovereignty will be preserved, and peace will be achieved,”
