“For the first time since 1962, the French government formed by Macron has received a vote of no confidence and is obliged to resign. This decision was made by the parliament — 331 parliamentarians voted for that (while the majority should be 289),” posted the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin Volodin Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin

on his Telegram channel. He noted that the government ruled only 91 days, and that is the anti-record in the entire history of France.

“Macron has failed to hold onto power by any means. The incumbent president of France has turned the once prosperous state to a state of deep political and economic crisis,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.

“The times of de Gaulle and Mitterrand are long gone. France has lost not only its subjectivity in developing a common European position, but also its independence in decision-making process,” he added.

“By allowing Biden to drag him into the war in Ukraine, and then trying to become the leader among the EU states providing support, Macron has finally lost the confidence of his own population. The people of France understand the possible results of such policy. The time of Macron, Biden and their ilk should be a thing of the past,” concluded Vyacheslav Volodin.
