“Today, the European Parliament has called on the EU countries to lift ban on the use of long-range missiles by Kiev to attack our territory, to increase military support for Ukraine, and to announce a collection of funds from the citizens of European states for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” posted the Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin Volodin Vyacheslav Victorovich Volodin

on his Telegram channel.

“Let me repeat again: if something like this happens, Russia will give a tough response using more powerful weapons. No one should have any illusions about this. The State Duma insists on this,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.

According to him, “such calls of the European Parliament can lead to a nuclear world war.” In addition, Vyacheslav Volodin addressed two questions to the members of the European Parliament, asking them whether they had asked their voters before making such a decision, and whether the citizens of European countries wanted to have war in their homeland.

“Before making such a decision, they should remember the lessons of World War II. 27 million Soviet citizens died in the fight against fascism. It was our country that liberated you and all of Europe. Remember this. Do not forget. Looking at the calls of the European Parliament, we can see that you have forgotten,” stressed the Chairman of the State Duma.

“The citizens of our country know what war is, it has affected every family. The victory over Nazism came at a high price. The USA and England, that call themselves the victors, lost less than 800 thousand people during World War II. Our losses in the Battle of Stalingrad alone were 1,130 thousand people,” he also noted.

“The only thing the European Parliament should do after such making calls is to dissolve itself,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin and added: “For your information: the flight time of the Sarmat missile to Strasbourg is 3 minutes 20 seconds.”
