The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
held a meeting with the Special
Representative of the President of the Republic of Nicaragua for Russian
Affairs Laureano Facundo Ortega Murillo in Moscow. They discussed the practical
implementation of the agreements reached during the working visit of the Chairman of the State Duma to Nicaragua which was held in July.
“We use different formats of cooperation. But the most important thing is that we have constant cooperation. This makes a serious contribution to strengthening and developing our relations. They are of very special nature. We know that we can see you as our allies,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
The Chairman of the State Duma noted the strategic nature of relations between Russia and Nicaragua and contribution of Presidents Vladimir Putin and Daniel Ortega. Our task is to ensure implementation of the agreements of the heads of states at all levels, including within the parliamentary dimension, as he said.
