Vyacheslav Volodin met with President of Cuba Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez
They discussed issues of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Cuba and enhancement of economic ties and tourism

Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, President of the Republic Miguel
Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
Vyacheslav Volodin conveyed warm words of greetings from the President of Russia Vladimir Putin to the President of Cuba.
“Relations between our country and Cuba are developing dynamically, and we should express gratitude to you and our President Vladimir Putin for that. For our part, we need to try to ensure that the parliamentary dimension is maximally used, relevant decisions are made and there are results of our interaction, as it is at the highest level,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
According to the Chairman of the State Duma, “we are talking about the implementation of projects in the field of tourism, as well as the supply of resources.” Russia was the second in terms of number of tourists who visit Cuba, added Vyacheslav Volodin.
“Your visit confirms the remarkable state of political and economic ties between our countries. We continue to exchange bilateral delegations at the highest level,” said Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez.
The President of Cuba noted the ongoing strengthening of relations between the parliaments of the two countries. He thanked the deputies for their support of Cuba and the efforts they made to stop the economic, trade and financial blockade of the Republic by the United States of America.
