He recalled that China had previously refused to attend the Conference: the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated that the agenda “does not meet Beijing’s expectations” and the general expectations of the world community.
“Even Washington’s allies, such as Australia, downgrade the level of participation. The Minister for the National Disability Insurance Scheme will go to Switzerland instead of the Prime Minister,” added the Chairman of the State Duma.
Vyacheslav Volodin noted that most likely it had a deep meaning: “At this meeting there will be at least one mental disabled person — Zelensky. And also those politicians who plan to meet with Zelensky there, who is just nobody, as his term as the head of Ukraine is over.”
“More and more countries have found that the policies of Washington and Brussels are based on hypocrisy and double standards. On the one hand, the United States and the European Union try to invite many states to the Conference in Switzerland, lying about their desire for a peaceful settlement, and on the other hand, they just allow the Kiev regime to use their weapons to attack the territory of the Russian Federation,” emphasized Vyacheslav Volodin.
“While the most effective and fastest way to end the conflict in Ukraine is to stop sending weapons to the Kiev Nazis. Any attempts to force Russia to support any decisions made at biased meetings organized by Washington and Brussels are doomed to failure,” he concluded.
