Chairman of the State Duma expressed condolences to Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf
“I express my deepest condolences over the death of the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi and those people who were with him in that helicopter that crashed in the province of East Azerbaijan.
A loyal son of his country, Mr. Raisi always defended the interests of Iran, fought for its independence and sovereign development in a multipolar world. The contribution of Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi to strengthening of friendly relations between Russia and Iran cannot be overemphasized.
This is a great loss for all of us. We mourn together with the Iranian people. I ask you to convey words of sympathy to the families and friends of the victims.”
