Vyacheslav Volodin: Vladimir Putin created such a political system where all the people can realize themselves
Chairman of the State Duma emphasized that the presidential election in Russia was transparent, legitimate and competitive

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
said that at the plenary meeting on March 19.
Vyacheslav Volodin emphasized that the presidential election in the Russian Federation held on March 15–17, 2024, “was transparent, legitimate and competitive.”
“President Vladimir Putin created a political system where co-exist many parties and all the people can realize themselves. This makes the country only stronger. The results of the election campaign reflect the changes of political culture,” said the Chairman of the State Duma.
According to Vyacheslav Volodin, Western states should learn from Russia’s experience: “They have absolutely closed political systems. In the USA, two parties usurped power. And they tell us how to live. They give 45 days for voting, they send ballots with a help of post service, and then they forget about that. When they count votes, they pay absolutely no attention to violations. They look at the speck in our eyes, but do not notice the log in their own eyes.”
The Chairman of the State Duma also added that Vladimir Putin’s victory “is important not only for Russian people, but also for the whole world”.
“For many other countries, Vladimir Putin’s victory is an opportunity to protect their independence, an opportunity to survive as states and nations. Therefore, election in Russia was bigger that the election in the Russian Federation, and Vladimir Putin’s victory will determine the development of the world as more multipolar and fair,” said Vyacheslav Volodin.
He expressed confidence that European leaders “should get in line as quickly as possible at the office of our President: they should come, apologize, congratulate him as quickly as possible, because then not only The Hague will wait for them.”
