At the beginning of his speech, he congratulated Vladimir Putin on his victory in the presidential election and conveyed warm words from the President of the Republika Srpska Milorad Dodik. “Congratulations on the beginning of new phase of international relations,” said Nenad Stevandić.
“Russia has always been against the inhumane world order, which goal is to obtain the world’s resources,” said the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republika Srpska. He thanked Russia for its continued support of the Serbian people.
“We are not just close nations, we share the same values: freedom, respect for family, culture, history and the right of every people, every person to make their own choice, to have their own policy. Such views are shared by many other nations on other continents. And together we are the overwhelming majority,” emphasized Nenad Stevandić.
He assured that the Serbian people “will never support the anti-Russian hysteria.” “We deal with sanctions, insults, pressure,” added the Speaker of the National Assembly.
Nenad Stevandić also condemned the policy of hegemony and building a unipolar world, imposed neoliberal values that, in his opinion, limit the freedom and independence of other nations, and criticized the West's support for neo-Nazism and neo-colonialism.
“Nowadays, we are witnessing the spread of various falsehoods and lies. We are told that traditional values contradict scientific and technological progress. But the truth is completely different: traditional values, in fact, protect us from dehumanization,” said the Speaker of the National Assembly.
