On Tuesday, September 26, the meeting of the Parliamentary Commission on Investigation of the Crimes Committed by the Kiev regime Against Minors was held at the State Duma.

Systematic violation of children’s rights by the Kiev regime

“In the regions shelled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, there have been created special commissions to record crimes, and their database is constantly growing,” said Anna Kuznetsova.

According to the parliamentarian, the Parliamentary Commission continues to receive information from the regions about the crimes committed by the Kiev regime. According to the received information, to date more than 300 children were killed and more than a thousand have been injured. The number of orphans is growing as civilian cities and towns are being shelled: there are more than 100 attacks every day.

“We have analyzed the data. In total, social rights of 114,554 children were violated: 71,090 in the DPR, 21,348 in the LPR, almost 5 thousand in Crimea, 2,252 in the Bryansk region, 11,901 in the Belgorod region, 3,007 children in the Kursk region, as said Anna Kuznetsova. “Imagine what would have happened if all these children have spoken at The Hague.” According to her, those children have no opportunity to go to schools and kindergartens, receive medical care, and were deprived of normal conditions of socialization.

The UN should see the truth

Anna Kuznetsova also suggested inviting the Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict Virginia Gamba to take part in the next meeting of the Commission.

“Without having complete information about the actions of the Kiev regime, the UN still makes conclusions that are based on unconfirmed data. This is a result of a biased, irresponsible approach and definitely not a good example of international political activity,” she said.

According to the parliamentarian, it is necessary to involve Virginia Gamba in the work of the Commission: “We should show her the facts that we have already collected, those that we record every day, several times a day.”

Anna Kuznetsova noted inaction on the part of international organizations. “The UN confidently declares that Russia committees crimes, but at the same time, the Organization’s Secretary-General, in his report “Children of Armed Conflicts,” stated that he did not have a comprehensive picture of violations against children, since the verification of facts depends on many factors.”
