“The Poles were burned alive, were killed with axes and pitchforks, drowned in wells. There are archival documents, testimonies of eyewitnesses and criminals that provide evidence of those atrocities,” the Chairman of the State Duma posted on his Telegram channel.

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
recalled that those murders were committed by members of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists and its military unit, the Ukrainian
Insurgent Army (*OUN-UPA is banned in the Russian Federation).
“The Kiev regime has made a hero out of Bandera and his henchmen who committed bloody crimes. Instead of recognizing the actions of Bandera as a genocide of the Polish people, there are new monuments to them, their ideology is being protected and promoted. And Warsaw, betraying the memory of the victims of the Volhynia tragedy, sends to the Kiev regime more weapons for new crimes,” stressed Vycheslav Volodin.
Support of Nazism leads to terrible, devastating consequences, according to the Chairman of the State Duma. “The officials in Poland know that well. On their part, this is more than a betrayal of their own people,” he added.
“It is time for NATO member states to realize that they are making a terrible mistake. Support of Nazism in the 1930s led to World War II. It is important to prevent a repetition of the tragedy,” emphasized the Chairman of the State Duma.
