at the plenary session, there were 448 signatures of parliamentarians who supported the initiative.
“During the special military operation being conducted by the Russian Armed Forces, there had been revealed the facts of an emergency destruction by the Ukrainian regime of traces of the military biological program being implemented in Ukraine, funded by the US Department of Defense, including documents on the development of especially dangerous pathogens of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera and others dangerous and transmittable deadly diseases,” text of the appeal to initiate an investigation said.
Members of the State Duma also emphasized that the Ukrainian authorities were trying to hide these facts and “that requires a public and general legal assessment”.
“We are convinced that all circumstances that threaten the life and health of citizens of the Russian Federation and the whole humanity must be investigated and become known to the general public, both in the Russian Federation and in the foreign states,” the document says.
According to the resolution, it is proposed to support the initiative on a parliamentary investigation, as well as to appeal to the Federation Council with a proposal to create a parliamentary commission to investigate the circumstances related to the creation of biological laboratories by the US specialists on the territory of Ukraine.
