He stressed that all the materials collected by the Commission related to a number of Baltic media outlets providing information for the Russian audience had been sent to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation.
”In particular, we had revealed cases of dissemination of information containing pro-drug messages or encouraging our young people to participate in mass riots and other violations of the law. We are convinced that the Russian Foreign Ministry will react to this situation and take into account all the materials and information sent by the Commission about the destructive influence of the Baltic media, including in the border territories of Russia,“ said Vasilii Piskarev.
Earlier, Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Maria Zakharova said that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will prepare proposals for taking retaliatory measures against the Baltic States media outlets in connection with the illegal actions of the authorities of Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia against the Russian media.
