The first session of the Commission on Cooperation between the State Duma and the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be held tomorrow on September 6.
The decision to establish the Commission was

The Chairman of the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation of the eighth convocation. Elected in single mandate constituency № 163 (Saratov constituency - Saratov Oblast)
to Iran on 9 April 2018. It is designed to promote the expansion
and deepening of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Iran. The Commission's regulation provides for regular parliamentary consultations on issues of mutual interest, including in such areas as energy, transport,
industry, science, education, technology exchange, tourism, and security
issues.
